Caramel Bread Pudding

Ingredients

Caramel Sauce
  • 3/4 c. Butter

  • 1 c. Light Brown Sugar

  • 1/4 c. Milk

  • 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

Bread Pudding
  • 24 oz. Caramel Vanilla Coffee Creamer

  • 5 Large Eggs

  • 1/2 tsp. Ground Cinnamon

  • 15 Frozen Cider Donuts from Louisburg Cider Mill, thawed and cut into 1in pieces


 

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 7x11 baking dish

  2. In a sauce pan melt the butter over low heat

  3. Stir in the brown sugar and milk - bring to a boil stirring constantly until the caramel sauce thickens

  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla

  5. Let caramel cool for around 10 minutes

  6. For the bread pudding, in a large bowl whisk creamer, eggs, and cinnamon together

  7. Add in the donuts to the egg mixture and stir to coat

  8. Let sit while caramel cools

  9. Place bread into baking dish and pour over caramel sauce

  10. Cover with foil and bake for 60 minutes

  11. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes

  12. Remove from over and serve warm with Louisburg Cider Mill Old Fashioned Apple Cider for best results
